Junior Camp

Solid Rock Junior Camp emphasizes ways for juniors (young people entering grades 4 through 7) to serve God today by serving others. Each day will be filled with fun and hands-on projects. Campers will play games that they have never played before and try activities that allow them to learn new skills and practice old ones—swimming, canoeing, kayaking, archery, fishing, carpetball, gaga ball, and crafts to name a few.  See you at camp!

June 20-25

Arrival at camp is 2PM on Monday and Pick-up is 9AM on Saturday.

Meet our Jr. Week Speaker

Dan Lietha | Cartoonist and Illustrator | Reasons for Hope

Dan received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior as a young boy. Dan also began drawing at a very young age. After high school, he attended the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art and graduated in 1987.  In 1990, a biblical creation video series titled, Understanding Genesis sparked a hunger in Dan to know more about biblical origins. Dan eventually was inspired to share this information by way of a comic strip called, CreationWise that he created to share with churches and creation ministries. That comic strip led him into a 25 year career as a cartoonist and illustrator with Answers in Genesis. Dan now illustrates for, Reasons for Hope* Inc.. Here he produces images and speaker slides that challenge viewers to think biblically. Truth Jabs is his cartoon feature for rforh. Draw It & Know It! Is an online educational video feature that Dan produces to teach children how to draw animals and think about them with a biblical worldview. Dan is also a speaker and has spoken at summer Bible camps over the past 15 years.  Dan lives in Northern Kentucky with his wife, Marcia, and daughter, Hannah.
