Solid Rock Junior Camp emphasizes ways for juniors (young people entering grades 4 through 7) to serve God today by serving others. Each day will be filled with fun and hands-on projects. Campers will play games that they have never played before and try activities that allow them to learn new skills and practice old ones—swimming, canoeing, kayaking, archery, fishing, carpetball, gaga ball, and crafts to name a few.  See you at camp!

Meet our Jr. Week Speaker

Daniel Dietz

Daniel spent much of his childhood on the mission field with his parents where they shared the Gospel in Mexico, Denmark, Czech Republic, and other European countries. In high school the desire to pursue aviation was stirred up in Daniel after a flight lesson his dad bought him on his 16th birthday. After a short stint in the Air Force, Daniel returned to Iowa in 2004. It was in this season that he recommitted his life to Christ, married his best friend, and was called into aviation and ministry by the Holy Spirit. He attended Moody Aviation from 2007-2012 in Spokane, Washington, where he and Dawn had 3 of their 4 kids. After moving back to Iowa in 2012, Daniel and Dawn started Paraclete Aviation to help advance the Gospel of Jesus and introduce others to Aviation. Daniel also served as a youth pastor from 2016-2022. He enjoys spending time with his family, flying, preaching the Gospel, worship and prayer. He has a heart to see the youth in our community revived and thriving in their gifts and calling from God, pursuing what they were made for.
